At the north end of Lake Union, Gas Works Park offers a fun-filled festival atmosphere with activities for the entire family. Gas Works Park features an elevated hilltop view of the show with a tremendous eye-level perspective.
The sound stage has live music and promotions throughout the day and at night. And don’t forget the food; Summer Fourth is guaranteed to have something for every palate.
Parking is free, and there is also a bike corral for those who prefer an alternative mode to travel. Rideshare, carpooling, or public transportation is highly recommended.
At the south end of Lake Union, Lake Union Park provides the coolest setting to grab a drink, get a bite to eat, and enjoy the show. Lake Union Park features a darker sky view facing north, creating a spectacular array of color booming across Lake Union.
Lake Union Park offers both free and reserved seating options. The South Lake Union Bar with an excellent selection of beer, seltzers and cocktails.
If you have access to a boat, the fireworks show can be seen from various locations within Lake Union, for a variety of overhead views. Still, the entire experience with choreographed music can only be seen and heard from Gas Works Park and Lake Union Park both offering concert-quality sound system.
