1. World Breastfeeding Week
First off this month: Let's raise a toast to all the moms out there with their amazing breastfeeding skills! World Breastfeeding Week, supported by UNICEF and the World Health Federation in more than 120 countries, was created with the goal of providing support for breastfeeding moms everywhere. Aug. 1-7
- Let it Be Birth offers a regular virtual drop-in group for infant feeding and lactation support as a complimentary service to current Let It Be Birth clients. Community members are all welcome to attend and there is a suggested donation of $15-$40. If you cannot afford the suggested donation, you are still welcome you to attend and participate fully in this resource!
- Northshore Midwives & Lactation Consulting offers 1 hour individualized consults, is a preferred provider for most insurance companies, including Medicaid. Lactation consultations are covered by most insurance companies.
- Pacific Wellness & Lactation offers a variety of specialized services including clinical support for Low Milk Supply.
